Bullfrog Water Culture Method

The selection of ponds requires sufficient water sources, convenient drainage and irrigation, no water pollution, quiet environment, convenient transportation and adequate power supply.

The Frog Pond is constructed as a large pool for every 100 square meters, and each large pool is divided into four small pools on average. The pool is surrounded with a 40-mesh sieve. Before the seedlings are released for release, 50-75 kg of lime or 10-15 kg of bleaching powder shall be used for disinfection. Clearing ponds can be planted 10 days after disinfection. The young frogs should be washed with 20 mg/l potassium permanganate solution for 10 to 20 minutes before stocking. Stocking densities: 60 to 80 larvae per square metre for young frogs and 30 to 40 per square metre for frogs.

Feeding management

(1) The patrol pool inspection. Every morning, evening and midnight, the patrol ponds are once to prevent the bullfrogs from fleeing. (3) Feeding by grading, timely screening of individuals with larger specifications at regular intervals, and adjusting bullfrogs of similar specifications to the same pond for culture.

The disease prevention and control seedlings shall be disinfected with quicklime or bleaching powder pond before stocking, killing the hostile organisms and pathogens, and regularly bleaching and bleaching with bleaching powder or strong chlorine fines, and using a 20 mg/l potassium permanganate solution after sub-pooling The frog body is sterilized to prevent mechanical damage. The diseased frogs and dead frogs were found to be isolated and reared in a timely manner and disinfected with a high concentration of bleach or potassium permanganate solution.
