How to screen and prevent cancer with convenient and cheap technology is one of the research directions of biomedical scientists. Recently, a study published in the journal Science shows that scientists are expected to locate up to eight cancers through blood tests alone.
The study was moderated by scholars at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the United States. The researchers selected patients who have been diagnosed with cancers such as ovarian cancer, liver cancer, and stomach cancer for blood tests. They not only test DNA mutation information in the blood, but also creatively test the abnormal protein levels of related cancers, further expanding the detection range of blood tests.
