Cage can be used to provide yellowing

The cultivation of yellow radish using cages requires careful selection of water bodies such as bays, lakes, and rivers that are sheltered from strong winds and have a minimum depth of 4 meters. The cage construction involves using 33 mm polyethylene knotted nets with dimensions of either 3m x 3m x 1.6m or 4m x 4m x 1.6m. These nets feature an outer mesh size of 3 cm and an inner mesh size of 1 cm. The cages are typically constructed from bamboo and kept afloat, secured in place using anchoring ropes to form a "one" or "goods" shape for stability. When stocking fish, it is recommended to maintain a density of 100 fish per square meter for fingerlings weighing around 25 grams, and 70 fish per square meter for fish species weighing approximately 50 grams. Before placing the fish into the cages, they should be immersed in a 3-5% saline solution for 10-15 minutes to reduce stress and prevent disease. Feeding practices should be adjusted based on weather conditions, water temperature, and the activity level of the fish. On average, fish should be fed 5-8% of their body weight daily, divided into two feedings—one in the morning and one in the evening. It's best to feed within one hour after each session. Given that yellow-spiced fish tend to forage more at night, it’s advisable to allocate 60% of the daily feed in the evening and 40% in the morning. Feeding should follow the “four principles” — consistency, quality, quantity, and timing — to ensure optimal growth and health. Daily management tasks include washing the cage every 7-10 days and cleaning the feeding platform daily. To prevent fish from escaping, it is essential to inspect the netting regularly for any signs of damage or wear, and repair them promptly if needed. Additionally, a shade net should be placed over the cage to help the fish consume food more effectively and reduce stress caused by direct sunlight.
