Sugar cane tip is a treasure winter storage animal effect

Sugar cane shoots contain up to 12%-13% crude protein, containing 16 amino acids and many sugars. In the winter storage state, through the anaerobic fermentation of lactic acid bacteria, the sugar in the cane tip is gradually converted into organic acid (lactic acid). When the lactic acid reaches a certain concentration, the sugarcane shoot's nutrients are inhibited from being destroyed by other microorganisms, thus making sugar cane The tip keeps green, juicy, and nutritionally unchanged for a long time. Therefore, the winter cane shoots are a good way to solve the lack of green feed contradiction between livestock in winter and early spring. Changde City, Hunan Province, West Dongting Management District planted 2000-3000 hectares of sugarcane, sugar cane production 35,000 -4.0 million tons, equivalent to 200-250 hectares of artificial high-quality grass, worth 3 million yuan. Before 2000, the cane farmers in West Dongting saw the sugarcane shoots as a major hazard and they took a burned approach. Since 2001, the West Dongting people have mastered the technology of wintering sugar cane top raising livestock by learning relevant scientific and technological knowledge. The winter silage cane tip is 20,000 cubic meters for 3500 beef cattle, 554 buffaloes, 4,500 goats and tens of thousands of geese. A few rabbits eat for about 6 months. Their specific approach is as follows:

(a) timely winter storage. Only the fresh sugar cane tip is rich in nutrients, containing large amounts of chlorophyll, amino acids, crude protein and sugar. After drying out, these nutrients will be destroyed and even converted into toxic substances, which will cultivate a large number of harmful bacteria, viruses and parasites. Therefore, you should choose before freezing, preferably before the frost, sugar cane tip is still green when the winter storage.

(b) Prepare containers. Since winter storage is the creation of an anaerobic environment to ensure the fermentation of anaerobic bacteria, the general requirements for winter storage containers are airtight and do not allow water to be used. Three types of containers are usually used: First, digging. To choose a high ground, the groundwater level is low, and dig pits where it is sunny. To dig into square shape, it is 100-150 cm deep and 60-80 cm wide. The length is not limited. The second is to build pools with concrete and red bricks. The third is to use abandoned houses. The ground and walls can be covered with agricultural film. In addition, you can also use plastic bags, large cylinders, large jars and other containers.

(c) Crush and seal. The cane tip is cut into pieces about 1 cm long. Shred and put it in the container, try everything you can to make it tighter. Finally covered with agricultural film, sealed with river sand or mud. Do not open the seal before use to avoid intake air, damage anaerobic environment.

(D) scientific access. After 50-60 days of winter storage, it can be opened for use. Only one place can be opened and it can be gradually accessed in stages. If mildew is found after unsealing, mildew should be removed. If it is found to be yellow-green in color, soft and juicy, and has a scent of alcohol, it is a premium product. Can be directly fed cattle, sheep, rabbits, geese and other herbivores, but also can add some fine material. When starting feeding, it should be increased from small to large, and gradually increased;
