Water Management after Heading Rice

After heading rice, water management has a great influence on rice yield. Therefore, attention should be paid to water management after heading. To ensure the moisture is conducive to the movement of soil nutrients and the production, operation, and accumulation of photosynthetic products, but it is not conducive to the oxygen requirement of the root system. Therefore, ensuring the root system's need for oxygen and ensuring rice's need for water has become the key to water management after rice heading. Practice has shown that doing dry and wet and dry after rice is full of rice ears not only creates a suitable soil environment for the roots, but also ensures rice's need for water. In the early stage of grouting, it is mainly wet, and the irrigated water is kept for 4 to 5 days. After the water is naturally dry, it is irrigated once every 1 to 2 days. In the middle and late period of grouting, it is mainly dry, and once it is irrigated, it is kept for 2-3 days. Allow the water to dry naturally for 2 to 3 days before irrigating the water until it is 5-7 days before harvest.
