Winter is the dormant period of apple trees. 1, young trees

2, the first fruit tree pruning
For the 5-8 years old saplings have entered the result period, the focus of pruning is to clear the densely squeezed branches and improve the lighting conditions of the trees, so that the resulting parts gradually transition to the backbone branches. Clean up 2 to 3 places each year in the crowded place, and strive to clean up after 3 years. After several years of adjustment and cleaning of the tree, the sparse layer of the small crown retains 5 main branches, 1 to 2 auxiliary branches, and 10 to 13 main branches are retained in the free-spindle shape.
