Abstract: Kesheng 25% pymetrozine was used to control whitebacked planthoppers in paddy fields. It was used during the peak period of young nymphs; 25% of miceraclone was used in mu and 24g was used. After 2 days, the control effect was 78.29%. 5 days reached 92.55%, close to the peak of efficacy, and the control effect against whitebacked planthoppers still reached 97.96% after 10 days. Safe to natural enemies.

Pymetrozine Suspension is a new insecticide developed by Jiangsu Kesheng Group Co., Ltd. to control rice planthoppers. In order to further verify the control efficacy of pymetrozine suspension agent against whitebacked planthopper, it provides a basis for the prevention and control of whitebacked planthoppers in large areas. In June 2008, we carried out relevant field experiments. The results reported below:

First, materials and methods

1. Test subject: Sogatella furcifera.

2. Test agent: 25% pymetrozine suspending agent. Jiangsu Kesheng Group Co., Ltd. provided.

3, the dose of agent, the test agent is divided into: 25% pymetrozine suspension 16 grams / acre, 20 grams / acre, 24 grams / acre three kinds of treatment.

4. Community arrangement: The number of experimental cells is 12. The number of cells in each cell is 16.6M2, repeated three times, randomly arranged, and the cells are separated by small loach.

5. Overview of the test site: The test site is located at Yujia Village, Shijie Town, Xinjian County. The double-season paddy field where rice is planted all year round, fertility in the middle and upper reaches, and drought and flood protection are guaranteed. Early rice (Feiyou 98), when the rice was in the early stage of booting, the field water layer was 3-4 cm when applied, and there was a small amount of alfalfa grass, the soil was Wuhuang muddy field, PH value was 6.5, and field rice planthoppers were white. The back locusts are mainly young nymphs and occur moderately.

Meteorological data: The pesticides were applied on June 19th. The day of spraying was cloudy to cloudy, and the winds were grade 2. The weather was sunny and cloudy the next day.

6. Application method: The test was applied on June 19th and applied once, and no other control agents such as aphid and sheath blight were added. For each treatment of 1.25 kg of water (equivalent to 50 kg per acre), use a “farm/farmers 16” manual sprayer for fine spray.

7. Pharmaceutical information on other pests and diseases before the implementation of this experiment: on May 2nd, 75% of mu, 40 grams of poison, 20% of triazophos, 100 grams of water, and 30 kg of water, will be used as Putian's “transport medicine” to prevent early rice. Putian rice stem borer, rice blast, uniform treatment; May 20 in Datian mu 5% Ruijin special 50 grams of water spray 30 kg, prevention and treatment of the first generation of Huaihua, uniform treatment.

Survey records and methods

1 Investigation time: The number of insect populations was investigated before drug use (June 18), 2 days after drug (June 21), 5 days (June 24), 7 days (June 26), and 10 days (June On the 29th, investigate and record the number of live insects in each plot.

2 Survey method: field insect survey, using the parallel jump method to survey 10 points, 2 clusters per point (place the white porcelain plate at the base of the rice plant, and hand-smash the base of the rice bundle three times by hand from the other side of the rice plant. 3 efficacy calculation method:

Insect reduction rate (%) = (pre-administration number of insects - number of insects after application) / number of insects before application 100

4 Visual inspection of crops and other non-target organisms.

Second, results and analysis

1. It can be seen from Table 1 that after the investigation of 2 drugs, the treatment effect of 24% treatment of 25% pymetrozine suspension for mu is 78.29%, 92.55% for 5 days after the drug, which is close to the peak of drug efficacy, and it reaches 10 after drug treatment. Days of control of whitebacked flycatchers reached 97.96%. From the data in the table, it can be seen that the control effect of whitebacked planthoppers is also improved with the increase of the dosage of the formulation when the 16g/mu is raised to 24 g/mu.

2. Impact on crops and non-targets

The pymetrozine series had no effect on early rice at the recommended dose and had no effect on field spiders.

Third, the conclusion and discussion

1, 25% pymetrozine suspension agent developed by Jiangsu Kesheng Group Co., Ltd. is used at the recommended dosage and dilution ratio, and the control effect on whitebacked planthoppers is significant, reaching 92.55% in 5 days after the medicine, which is close to the peak of drug efficacy. In the following 10 days, the control effect against whitebacked planthoppers still reached 97.96%. For crop security, there is no obvious impact on the natural enemies in the field and it can be vigorously promoted. It is recommended to use the dosage of 18-20 g/mu for the prevention and treatment in the medium-to-heavily-infested year of the white-tailed sting fly, and use the dosage of 20-24 g/mu for prevention and treatment in the biased to retransmission year.

2, The use of Kesheng 25% pymetrozine suspension agent to control the duration of the whitebacked planthopper should be used in the peak period of 1-2 instars of S. furcifera, which will help ensure the control effect.

3, the field should have 3-5cm water layer when spraying, which is conducive to liquid conduction in the plant.
