It is then left to dry for another 1-2 days before being fully dried until the moisture content drops to around 20%. If rain occurs during the drying process, it's essential to use artificial drying methods to avoid spoilage and mold. Once the product is fully dried, it should be packaged in sealed containers for long-term storage. This preserved carambola can later be used in the production of candied fruits or other processed products, ensuring its flavor and texture remain intact for future use.
