Unique plant "Jade Pearl" (Figure)

On March 17, Zhang Bingchun, a local resident from Dagang Road in Lianyungang City, shared his collection of “Jade Pearl” plants. This unique species stands out from typical flowering plants due to its unusual appearance. Instead of traditional leaves, it features small green vines that produce clusters of round, green balls resembling strings of "green pearls." The plant’s distinctive look makes it highly eye-catching and popular among plant enthusiasts. According to historical records, the Jade Pearl plant is also known as "green beaded cactus" or "jade bead." It originates from the arid and subtropical regions of western South Africa. This resilient plant can take root easily and thrive in various conditions. Its leaves are dark green, heart-shaped, thick, and juicy, giving it a texture similar to beads. Because of its unique shape and appearance, it has earned several nicknames, including "Buddha Beads," "Green Grapes," and "Green Bells." Zhang Bingchun, who has been cultivating these plants for several years, says they are not only visually appealing but also easy to care for. He often shares his knowledge with neighbors and friends, helping them understand how to grow and maintain this fascinating species. With its striking design and rich history, the Jade Pearl continues to captivate people around the world.

Ammonium Bicarbonate

Ammonium Bicarbonate (ABC) is a widely used nitrogen fertilizer that provides essential nutrients for plant growth. It is a solid, white crystalline compound with high solubility in water, making it easy for crops to absorb. As a cost-effective nitrogen source, ABC delivers readily available ammonium nitrogen, promoting strong vegetative growth and enhancing chlorophyll production.Ammonium Bicarbonate Fertilizer

Despite its benefits, ABC is sensitive to temperature and air exposure, leading to potential nitrogen loss through volatilization. To maximize efficiency, farmers should apply it directly into the soil and avoid excessive surface exposure. Proper storage in sealed containers can help maintain its effectiveness.Nitrogen Fertilizer Ammonium Bicarbonate

ABC is particularly suitable for alkaline and neutral soils, where its ammonium form helps improve nutrient uptake. Compared to other nitrogen fertilizers, it has a lower environmental impact when properly managed, making it a preferred choice for sustainable farming practices.Agricultural Ammonium Bicarbonate
