Five ways to raise rabbits efficiently

When a female rabbit is not in heat, male rabbits may be used to stimulate ovulation. This process involves injecting 0.1 ml of aqueous benzoate (a form of benzoic acid) into the muscle of the female. After one day, the female should show signs of estrus and be receptive to mating. However, during this time, the female should not become pregnant. Female rabbits typically go into labor about 30 days after giving birth. For those who are overdue or have prolonged pregnancies, oxytocin can be administered to encourage contractions and assist with delivery. For a rabbit that has been pregnant for 31 days, injecting 3–4 units of oxytocin into the inner thigh muscle can help trigger labor. Most pups will be born within 10–15 minutes, and some may deliver as quickly as two minutes after injection. It's important to note that females should not be bred again within 30 days of their last pregnancy. After weaning, it's not necessary to dry the puppies' bodies manually. Allowing the mother to clean them naturally helps promote bonding. Additionally, prolactin can enhance maternal behavior. To support milk production, postpartum females can be given feeds such as raw sesame seeds, black beans, and fresh green vegetables. For fattening purposes, a combination of cyclosporine and oxytetracycline feed powder can be added to the diet. The dosage is 1 gram per day for 30-day-old rabbits, mixed into their morning feed. Every 10 days, the dose should be increased by 1 gram. According to tests, treated rabbits gained 5–10 grams daily, which is significantly higher than untreated ones. The hair growth method involves using thyroxine to stimulate fur production. Adult rabbits are initially fed 10 mg per day, gradually increasing the dose over 60 days to reach 40 mg. After reaching the peak, the amount is slowly reduced and eventually stopped within 30 days. During the initial phase, the rabbits may show irritability, but they usually return to normal within a week.
